The St Andrews Irish Dance School was Established in September 2019, and has since grown massively in size with dancers of all ages and all abilities travelling from all over North East Fife and Dundee to dance with us. We are a World Irish Dance Association school and have the ability to compete internationally from small local competitions to the annual World Championships.
Our classes are open, friendly and challenging. Irish dancing helps with confidence, fitness and our school is a supportive family for all to get involved. Dancers can enter competitions, but unlike many schools we do not pressure our dancers to do so.
The St Andrews Irish Dance School has a strong focus on both solo dancing and team (ceili) dancing. We want all of our students to fall in love with Irish dancing as much as we do. We aim to make every class fun, engaging, and also a bit of a challenge to keep things interesting!
Eva Halliday is a qualified WIDA teacher with years of experience dancing in many different organisations and has danced competitively at a World Championship level. She also has years of experience working with children as a teaching assistant and in summer clubs.
We would love for you to join us, feel free to contact us to ask any more questions!
